Kupari and Samberg have been nasty breakout players, scoresheet doesn’t say it all for both of them. Not to mention vilardi, ridiculous hands on that man. Comrie is a perfect room guy back up, hope he stays around. And Perfetti! D game is on lock and now the scoring is coming because of it. Vlad does a good job but jets need a legit 2C who can actually win a faceoff. Would love a skilled rw to come in ie boeser/barzal too, and a heavy 3rd pair D like oleksiak or schenn. This team is dialled tho #gjg

After the Penguins, Kraken and Utah Hockey club. Hopefully soon to be the mammoth. I always pull for the Jets. Since they lost their team and now they got them back. I want them to succeed so then the teams doesn't leave again.
I can't recall the last time the same team was both the highest scoring AND the best defensive team in the league, this far into a season.

I can see a lot of silverware going to the Jets this year, President's, Vezina, coach and general manager of the year, but there is only one that counts, Lord Stanley's. Meantime, be amazed!
I disagree with all those that say Stanley Cup is the only way to justify a teams existence. Without the regular season we would have no HG no discussions arguments and the like to pass the long winter. No records to discuss no Hart no Vezina no Jennings etc. So long live the regular season.
Considering how few games he plays and how far apart his starts have been, Comerie hasn't played as bad as his record shows. In three of those loses, it was like the rest of the Jets decided to mail it in and also take the day off. I can only think of 3, maybe 4 goals that he should have had the save, and way too many of those goals it was either a defenseman pinching and getting caught up ice for a 2 or 3 on one, or not taking the couple of strides in the defensive zone to get some separation before trying to get it out of the zone and coughing the puck up. So far this year they've really played up to their potential and except for a couple of games, have been in position to win it until the dying seconds.
One thing here is very important Jets history wise. The Jets both old and new have NEVER won a division title. (I don’t include the 06-07 SE title as that was for Atlanta). Since 1979 Winnipeg has never ever raised a title banner in the Arena.
Can we talk about how players seem to always have some of their best seasons when they play on the Jets, and then they demand lots of money that the Jets never pay and then they shit the bed somewhere else.

I've been VERY pleased with what I've seen from Samberg this season. His development over the last couple years has been solid, so I'm not surprised to see him doing well, but you can see in the way he plays, he belongs in this league and he knows it. Confident with the puck, pretty good read on when to pinch and when to back off, one of the better shot-blockers around, and rarely makes mistakes worth talking about.

I won’t believe it until I see them actually win in the playoffs when it counts. Every year they’re great through the regular season and then come playoff time Hellebuyck turns into a sieve and they fall apart . I’d love to see them or Toronto win a cup if my team misses playoffs or loses in the playoffs . But I just feel like both of them just don’t play well in the most important games
