  1. Thats it, im done with SPORTSNET. This channel consistently spoils me every F morning, unsubbed and "never show me videos by this channel" again. BYE BYE

  2. Pens fans: Crosby is still on another level. Get this man some more talent around him.
Also Pens Fans: EK65 had some good moments, but can not play defense, and is a liability. Get this man a trade partner. Rakell was buzzing and was Sweden's most noticeable forward for most of the game- forechecking, hitting, passing, shooting, screening, even defending… he was everywhere

  3. Canada doesnt have a good record hosting "call"cups or "nations" cups.

The host should win, the host must win,…..er…we gonna keep the cup anyway….cause we are sore winners.

  4. 😎Wow Sidney Crosby with the masterful drop pass👍🏽 and Mitch with a lazer wrist shot or snap shot, top self🔥🇨🇦

  5. Sid always does well playing for Canada. Just an awesome night from him. Love the no look pass to McKinnon and loved drawing three defenders so Mitch had a shot to take

  6. Sweden is indeed in a transition phase but I think some of the younger fans here need to understand that these four teams and plus Czechia and Russia make up international hockey AND anyone can win at any given time. USA does not have the same hockey tradition as the Nordics even. Know your hockey history, folks.

  7. Good thing Marner scored, Mackinnon almost screwed it up trying to be the hero and do it all himself. Jesus Nate you got Mcdavid with you PASS THE PUCK

  8. Mitch skating over to Makar for the hug, Nate with the huge "YES" and Sid jumping off the bench smiling, god that was beautiful lol

  9. I'm SHOCKED that no commentators that I have heard have even mentioned, or noticed, the fact that Sid was benched for most of the OT. He played on 2nd shift of the OT, but not again until he assisted on Marner's goal (only 2 shifts). I thought that he was injured.
Perhaps coach Cooper thought that he was not fast enough to be out there 3 on 3? That would be strange. He's still great in OT with the Penguins.

I thought that McKinnon with McDavid didn't work at all in the OT because McKinnon was hogging the puck way too much & not playing give & go with McDavid & Makar. McKinnon even once went in through 3 guys & eventually lost the puck, when McDavid was open on the other side.
I am positive that Cooper will speak to McKinnon about not trying to win the game by himself & to pass more & let those 2 terrific players & passers set him up.

    Sid was awesome!
Sid's 1st assist was unreal & he was so smart on the other 2.

Marner was not very good for 2 periods; but I thought that he & McDavid started to develop chemistry in the 3rd period.

Billington was not good during the game; but great in the OT.

The team was poor in the 2nd period, probably because they absolutely dominated in the 1st, only allowing 1 shot. Billington was not tested at all either in that period, which probably didn't help him in the 2nd period.

  10. I saw that little exchange between Marner and McDavid earlier in the game. McDavid is the last off the bench to celebrate this goal. 🤔

  11. Marner and Crosby linking up for the OT winner just feels surreal, even a day later. After years of watching Sid dominate, Marner got to experience firsthand what it’s like to be on the same side in a high-stakes moment. For all the veterans the Leafs have brought in to mentor the core, getting that kind of lesson from Crosby on the international stage might be the most valuable of them all.
