Howden with 58 points in 38 games in WHL and then hajek is ranked about the second best d man prospect behind dahlin. I really like this trade, were getting namestnikov who has 44 points in 62 games plus the prospects and possibly 2 first round picks, ill take that

Howden has some serious upside, he's by far the best prospect the Rangers now have (yes, better than Chytil and Andersson).

Bad trade. Howden won the junior gold. We could have gotten sergechev and a first for mcdonagh but we just fucked it up. Brayden point would be nice as well. Im only hoping for Dahlin in the draft now to make me happy. We are so shit that we can make the 1st overall.
The Rangers have the cap space to go after John Taveras this off-season now, they just cleared up another $7.25 million off the cap space! Really wish we would have gotten Sergachev instead of Hajek, then i could see a even trade but for now TB won this for now. Depends on what we draft with the pick. Also Chytil and Anderson will be ready for next year. What young top defensemen that is a free agent could the rangers get or draft??? I was upset at the trade at first, not so much anymore if the Rangers could replace millsy and Mac with John Taveras and all these picks??? Trying to stay optimistic eh!!! But it sure is going to suck when we watch half of our stanley cup finals NYR team win a cup with Tampa Bay!!! LGR, can next Season get here already!!! 👍
Rangers fans listen! Brett Howden is an awesome prospect! I watched him at the prospect camp and I was definitely looking forward to seeing him come up to the NHL. He's a solid foward and Vladdy is an amazing hard-working player. Bittersweet on my part loosing those 3 guys but you've got a lot to look forward to! Keep an eye out for Brett Howden! We'll win the cup and you'll get another 1st rounder no worries we're taking care of Callahan and the boys down here. Rangers will be set for the future. It'll take a year or two for you guys to see but don't worry!
