Devils are the most likely team to get him they easily have the assets too and he would fit into that top 6 left side and if needed could play in the middle 6 in a center spot if injuries continue for the Devils
Rumours rumours. I feel he is the least likely to go. Since Ebs got injured he’s had a hard time finding a line that clicks. Hopefully with Ebs back after the break, he’ll pick it up.
He’s going to the jets
Islanders, Red Wings, Sens, Columbus even Boston and the Rangers should not be giving up what it would take to get McCann could see Drury or Sweeney doing it in a panic to try and push to make the playoffs but its a huge risk I cant see a team in that wild card race making this big of a push for McCann just doesnt seem wise. I think Seattle keep McCann anyways until at least the offseason they probably shouldnt trade him to begin with but idk what Francis is doing anymore

There’s no point in watching these videos anymore because every possible team is either mediocre with no future like the Wings and Islanders or big market contenders like the Maple Leafs. At this point I just fast forward to see the teams.

he is at best a second line player who has been given top HQ ice time so there are some problems here.If a top team keeps giving him top ice time he will degrade your top line but if his HQ ice time is lowered he is going to be a bust.I would say he is very similar to Caufield whom MTL gave pretty much 8 mil which is insane but MCann's 5.5 mil is a nice fit but he has to be a second line player so around a 25 goal scorer.

Interesting you didn’t mention the Blue Jackets. But not surprising given your takes.
Going to put this out there as a Seattle fan, McCann has already publicly said that Toronto is on his no-trade list. This is based on the fact that they didn't protect him during the expansion draft after being traded from Pittsburgh. The whole situation really burned him.

I’d like to see him in a Canucks jersey. I was disappointed when they traded him for scraps. I always thought him and Boeser would be great together. Vancouver has the cap space and still has their 1st and some prospects to get it done.

McCann to the Wings would be a good fit he would instantly be 1st line LW, move Kasper back to 2C in between Cat and Kane

As a Kraken fan I don't see any way the franchise moves McCann. 5 per for a top 6 winger. These don't grow on trees at that price.
