  1. This is where Jack Johnson’s reign ended. Jess Willard and Johnson never met again. Later on we have the famous beat down where Dempsey beats Willard into submission for the crown and thus a new era began.

  2. Changing of the guard. Johnson was definitely more gifted, but Willard was young, tall, strong and very tough.

  3. Jack Johnson was past his past here, and not in as good shape as he was against Burns or Jeffries.

Johnson later claimed it was a dive, I don't believe it at all.

Many of Johnson's best wins were befoee he won the title and never filmed.

  4. Performance enhancing drugs like steroids weren't even an experimental idea until the 30's for war victims of castration. They weren't documented as being used at all in sports until after the 50's I believe but mostly weightlifting or something. But 70's 80's is when they supposedly took off everywhere but not really mentioned in Boxing till the 80's.

  5. Hey I got another videeo idea for you Tim. You should do a comedy parody type video. Call it A Day In The Life Of Terrible Tim. The whole premise will be how everyone in the neighborhood is afraid of you cuz you knock them out all the time. Like your cashier takes too long at the grocery store, so you knock her out. Then at the post office, they still dont have a letter you been waiting for. So BOOM down goes the postman. Finally you get to the auto repair place and they tell you its gonna be a couple days before they can get the parts to work on your car. But after you threaten with the overhand, he magically has someone show up with the right parts within a few seconds. Would be a hilarious video. If you could get a few people around you to play those parts, it would be great

  6. Just a thought, if you like Hajime No Ippo would you consider doing commentary on the fights? I have always felt they are exaggerated but accurate fights. e.g what do you think of how the Dempsey Roll is portrayed in the show?
