  1. Great job by JN here.. took care of his own business. Bennett can be a dirty player and that hit was classless and dangerous Bennett threw on a basically defenseless player. He may not have won the scrap but he for sure gained respect from both teams and players will think twice before throwing a dirty hit on him again! Be nice to see Bennett fight a legit tough guy.

  2. Don’t care about either team, just a hockey fan. In this case the other guy wanted to fight from the previous hit so I get it. That said, Bennett won’t fight a legitimate tough guy, he is a punk

  3. Really sad the Blues don't have an enforcer. So Neighbors has to take more head trauma. What has happened to hockey?

  4. A beautiful moment in hockey, this is like a court room trial that ends in 60 seconds. Big respect to both of them.

  5. For Gods sake NHL refs make the right call the first time. Bennett should have got at least 2 for that hit. Probably more, then no fight needed and I am a fan of fighting.

  6. Just suspend the guy for a dirty hit, and ole Jake doesn't need to put his head on the line (again) to even the score. Really, dude lost again… so this is all just sad.

  7. Bennet never goes against anyone with cred, it's about time he's put in his place, but it won't happen because he'll run away and hop on the bench

  8. The game started with a planned fight? So now the NHL is using elements from WWE wrestling? Maybe the NHL should change their name to NHE.

  9. I’m not even close to a Panthers Fan, but Sam Bennett can be on my team any-day. He’s productive, tough as nails, and can fight a bit.

  10. Things happen in the game.
    Take a number/name.
The next time on ice or next game, you do this.
Both knew it was going to happen.
And then it does and it's over and done with.
Players might dislike others for longer time or for the rest of whatever time they feel like it.
    But this ends the issue.
    It's the players "policing" themselves.
Notice at the end when Bennett gets up he looks at Neighbors and makes sure he's not hurt?
