6-0 goal difference is crazy
I was pretty upset about the trade because im a big Avs and Mikko fan. While it still sucks to loae Mikko, Necas has fit right in and has looked really good. Assuming he continues that production, especially at his salary, this looks like it could be a genius move by the Avs front office. Salary Cap stuff is over my head but obviously production vs cost is a huge factor in success. To me Necas has looked elite in alot of ways. It isnt just him coasting off MacKinnon. Necas has several great defensive plays that led directly to goals. His transition game is impressive. He has multiple game winners that were really nice clutch goals. Im excited to see what he does on the Avs the next 2 seasons. At this point i hope to god we can afford to sign him long term next year.
Even sportsball review Jtube channels are using frog meme icons now. The irony.
He also had like 10 posts…
Dude I said this from the get go but MacKinnon absolutely loooooves having someone on his line that can keep up with him. Watch that highlight of him and Necas on that 2 on 1, Mack dropped the puck back too far and Necas had to stop up to catch it. This is a game changer for MacKinnon and the Avs.
Honestly, I really didn’t expect this. I still can’t get used to Mikko being with the Canes. But what Necas is doing, together with Makar and MacKinnon, has to be the most dynamic trio I’ve seen in my 30 years of watching hockey.
do not celebrate too early, NEcas usually disappear with playoff
Aho isn't MacKinnon. Rantanens production is going to drop significantly.
