    There was no reason for Toffoli to cross check Burrows so dangerously like that. Definitely suspension worthy for what stakes both teams are at and how important that game was.

    Usually a player can hack, slash, trip, stab, etc, do anything to Burrows and the refs won't do a thing. It only took a nearly broken neck to draw a penalty. Finally.

    That was worse than the hit that broke Mason Raymonds back. Burrows is one lucky dude. These LA nutters can't help themselves just like the Bruins. They can no more pass up the chance of a cheap hit than a junkie can.

    that wasn't a dive at all. who would dive at 70-80% speed head first into the boards? Not to mention the least forgiving part of the boards….
    should be a fined and banned least 3 games even if burrows isn't injured.

    Well, he won't be fined or suspended.

    If it was Burrows on Toffoli, Burrows would have been gone for 10+ games. 

    So as long as it's against a Canuck, it's okay?

    Fucking bullshit that to Toffoli hasn't been suspended for that dirty hit! if it were someone like Sydney Crosby then Toffoli would've been suspended like 20 games. Just because it's Alex Burrows he isn't getting suspended..which is bullshit. The league is trying to get rid of these kind of hit but don't suspend half the guys that should be.

    As a kings fan, I am glad to see we won't miss Toffoli for a couple games or so. On the other hand I the player safety got this call wrong. Is Toffoli a dirt player? No. Was this a bad hit that should have been suspended? Yes. It definitley was suspension worthy and Toffoli should AT LEAST be sitting a game or two. To all the Canucks fans out there saying toffoli should be suspended the rest of the season… please just stop.. There has been way worse then this hit. And to all my fellow kingss fans.. PLEASE STOP USING  THAT THE HIT WAS ON BURROWS AS AN EXCUSE!!!! You give us Kings fans a bad name! I swear we aren't all airheads like some people that call themselves "KINGS FANS." As a player of the game, I can't help to feel worried about Burrows. You never want to see someone go down like that. It could have been a lot worse then it was. Anyway this should definitley set up a GREAT game against these two April 6th.

    And of course: NO SUSPENSION! Even if you're not a fan of the Nucks, how the league has treated and "protected" Burrows is embarrassing to the sport! Stop the madness please @NHLPlayerSafety

    THis was one of those where the player (Toffoli) knew he screwed up and immediately regretted what he did. Toffoli isn't a dirty player and this was an axxident. That is why he wasn't suspended.

    It really bothers me that this is the first thing that comes up when you search Tyler Toffoli. The kid is a great hockey player and he's a clean player too. Obviously this hit was far from clean and I don't know what he was thinking when he did this but everyone's giving the guy shit and calling him a dirty player. This is the first time this has happened people for fucks sake. Does that make this justifiable? No it doesn't, but that doesn't mean Toffoli is a dirty player. Good to see Burrows wasn't injured and Kings got lucky that Toffoli wasn't suspended. Hopefully he never does anything like this again.

    Heres a fact the kings are one of the many teams i hate.its just because of your goalie Jonathan quick he's such a hot headed bitch that just can't keep his mouth shut.sorry to be rude but u kings fans are only good with quick if u didn't have him u will be nothing. And before u start having a big fight over this.that the Canucks are a great team that runs fundraisers for Heath awareness.
