It was another strong game for Florian Xhekaj who picked up his 11th goal of the season and was a pain to play against all night. Joshua Roy and Jared Davidson both scored in the shootout. Laval is on an impressive run but now will face a challenge with the schedule, playing 6 games in just 11 days.

HaHa, j kie? What happened to jack eye?
That kid is a surgeon.
Really happy to see that Farrell is adapting this season. Last year, and at the beginning of this season he was always playing around the perimeter but for the last 15 games he seems to be going in the dirty areas and is now creating grade A scoring chances.
As much as I like what Roy is doing in Laval, I think Mtl should try to move him now. He will struggle with motivation and intensity all his career. Beck, Kapanen, F. Xhekaj, Davidson, are much more likely to fill a role on the big team and they will do it with poise. I think people who see Roy as a 2nd-line winger in the NHL are dreaming. Trade him if you can.
