Regarding the Anaheim game,,, I understand benching a player if they're being lazy and the coach doesn't want to concede a goal. But I think it's utter stupidity to not have one of your best goal scorers out on the ice, when pulling the goalie. Would be a real shame to see another head-coach just abandon Laine… He is not meant for the third line

Remember Laine did this in WIN and CBJ. He just loses interest in hockey. He even said with CBJ that he doesn't even want to play hockey anymore. That is a guy you don't want on your team. It's just a paycheck to him and he doesn't love playing hockey.

Just because the Canadiens had a good 1-2 months people have seem to forgotten that The Canadiens ARE A BOTTOM TEAM.
I watched every shift Laine did against Anaheim and he didn’t put his 100% into the game. Maybe 50%. It doesn’t matter how many goals you do if you don’t do your well paid job every game. They get the salary agreements in advance even if they never make a goal anymore. Always enjoyed Laine, my favorite player but that game broke my trust in his long term ability to being a hockey player anymore. I think he needs to get back to the program and get programmed to becoming a hockey player. Otherwise he can be home with the dog and wife to be and drink wine or something. Not a lazy overpaid PP slap shot guy who refuses to skate. I could have done better than him that game. Such a shitshow!
