I've been an Islanders fan since Al Arbour became the head coach. I was 8. My dad worked with Al's dad in Sudbury, Ontario. I have wanted the team to be buyers; I have wanted them to be sellers; this really is the first year I want them to retool. Please Lou!
Would you consider Laine from Montreal a possibility. He is having problems there. Could they retain some salary?

Isles could have moved jpg last tdl for a first and failed. And 29 can just sign with minn. as a ufa since he wants to go back to minny so isles wont get much in that deal. Looks like vanek 2.0 who only got isles a second/mediocre prospect once word got out he was going home to minny as ufa.

Nelson to MN sounds simple, but besides a #1 what forward is ready for MN? Also, Lou should trade before or he takes a huge risk of injury.
If they keep winning I'm not sure anyone's going, especially centers.
