I dont think samberg and vilardi are ahving career years because theyre contract are up. I think theyre just good ass hockey players. Vilardi is finally healthy so we get to see a whole year of vilardi(hopefully). And samberg moved up to the 2nd pair so he just plays more.

I'm a Jets fan in Winnipeg. I highly doubt Samberg is signing for as low as 4 mill. I expect his contract to be something like 5 mill X 6 to 8 years
