  1. Why did you have to make me cry Mr Hockey Guy 😢. Great video and will always cherish the legacy and memories of Johnny and Matthew.

  2. Thank you for making this video. I sometimes zoom in parts of the board to read it or view stats while listening to your commentary.

  3. Maybe I'm overly critical of the Flames but I thought they should have retired his number when Columbus played in Calgary this season. I really hope they do retire his number as it's the right thing to do.

  4. Johnny Gaudreau very well could have won MVP in 21-22. At the time most even strength points since Jagr in 95-96, and also the best plus/minus since Gretzky in 86-87.

  5. I’m not a long time hockey fan so I won’t act like I watched him grow into the player he became but man he was so fun to watch. RIP jhonny hockey.

  6. Let this be a reminder: don't drive impaired, don't let your loved ones drive impaired. Everybody and anybody is at risk. This never needed to happen.

  7. Just so heartbreaking. I will add that his college career at BC plus the 2013 WJC win was huge to create a legend among hockey players in the States. Those Johnny Hockey highlights were amazing to watch growing up. I’m serious when I say he could have never played a minute in the NHL and he still would have been a USA Hockey folk legend. You can see in some of the tributes that American players like Caufield and Zegras took the loss hard, even if they probably weren’t as close to him as others, since in many ways he was their childhood hero. Just still doesn’t feel real almost a half a year on. Great video again Shannon.

  8. In 2015, some guy named Mark Stone came in second in Calder voting; wonder whatever happened to him?😊😊 Hoping the Gaudreaus are doing okay.

  9. If you saw Johnny score and pass, you saw a gifted player who had figured out how to play his own way and made it work. It was inspiring, and very good for hockey – different and creative as well as winning. As a long time bike rider, his death affected me, too.

  10. This New Jersey guy really misses this man.
Johnny was a local legend who became an NHL legend who is now a forever legend. ❤️

    RIP to the brothers ✝️

PLEASE do not drink & drive 🙏

  11. I remember watching and cheering that game 7 overtime goal against Dallas in 2022 with my dad – Johnny being his favourite player. What a special moment. It hurts a lot as fans – I can only imagine how much it hurts for his family and friends.
