I call it the trashbag dumpsterfire trio. Bouchard, Nurse and skinner each take there turns single hamdedly blowing games. Bouchard is the most overrated laziest room temp IQ garbage scrub dman in the nhl. 0 powerplay goals. My grandma could match his points on a line with 18,97,29,93. Knobcock needs to grow a set and bench him for a good 3 games. Nurse needs to be bought out or sent to comdors. Guy is the worst contract in nhl history. Then theres swiss skinner. The most consistantly, inconsistant goalie in nhl history. When your own goalie can single handedly take the wind out of the entire arena, silence the fans, flip the momentum and lose the game all on his own in less then 5 shots on net you have a major problem. If they go into the playoffs and these 3 are all still in oilers jerseys its gonna be a real quick exit. Fix it before its to late ffs

With what money and assets would you give up for that said goalie? You have 2 goalies making in total 3.6 million. A true number 1 goalie will cost you more than 8+ million. Trading for 1 will cost you either high picks and top prospects or Mcdavid/Draisaitl. If people are not convinced with Skinner, then give Pickard a chance over trading someone like Gibson.
Eleksiak and Soucy. Get Kane back. Done. We have to face reality. Edmonton management has never had the appetite to get to the heart of the matter when it comes to goaltending. Whether that means a new goalie or getting rid of the goalie savant Schwartz. So, the next best thing is to make it harder to gain our zone. Soucy and Eleksiak gives us the ability to shut down Mackinnon's and Makar's rushes. All teams hit our guys in the playoffs when we hit the zone. Why the hell do we not do the same. Get some twin towers on D, and then lay down the hurt and intimidation. Try to dump some salary or assign some guys to the minors to fit Donato in if you can. Then go deep.
