THIS IS WHY THE NEW YORK RANGERS FUTURE COULD BE AMAZING…

Over the next few seasons, it is very likely the New York Rangers will have a good amount of their prospects potentially in a real fight to earn a roster spot on the NHL team. Many of the team’s current top prospects are very close to being NHL-ready ready which is great for the Rangers.

  1. Ryan lindgren is so bad I can't wait for td, there also needs to be a discussion about Lafrenierre this guy is just a wimp a gutless player , I'd be fine seeing him in another sweater. Let the kids come up and finish the season out

  2. This video is a much needed breath of fresh air, in a YouTube filled with videos promising eternal sports salvation attainable only via trade. I agree we have some real potential in the minor league and college players.

  3. One young Ranger I'm really excited about is Will Cuylle. He had a great game against the Bluejackets last night, and in his 2nd year he's really blossoming into an excellent hard nosed player.
Zib also has been doing better. He has 12 points in his last 15 games, with 3 goals and 9 assists. When he starts tp actually shoot the puck again he'll be dangerous.

  4. We don’t need to wait for the future to be amazed by our Rangers. It is amazing how bad management and poor coaching have turned a Presidents Trophy winner into a bottom feeder in half a season.

  5. Laffy needs to be addressed, in the last handful of games we’ve let up multiple goals against that can be attributed to his quitting on backchecking where his man comes in and scored cuz he completely quit skating. It’s really getting concerning. I would’ve benched him. He did it twice last night for goals against.

  6. I would think Boston would trade for Krieder they have a surplus of defensemen so maybe there is a fit there

  7. Just what we needed– prospect updates. Rangers have two college players who will be very good NHLers in Perreault & Laba. Perrrault has terrific on ice vision & awareness which is why he excels at playmaking. Laba flies under the radar & despite starting the year injured, which set him back, he still was nominated for the Hobey Baker, which tells you how good he was. I think Othmann could be another Will Cuylle type. Berard needs to improve his defensive game and he has going from -23 last year to -3 this year in Hartford. A guy who impressed me in the game I attended was Roobroeck, who I think could develop into a more offensive Sam Carrick type in the future. There were two dudes from Oshawa, where he played last year, who drove up to see him play & were delighted when he scored. Chmelar is a really big boy, but he's going to have to play more assertively & physically if he wants to make the jump.

  8. They have to let him play no matter what at nhl level. If laviollete puts him in ahl or drury , id fire those bums

  9. I can see the Rangers trading Cuylee, Othmann, GP, and picks for Pat Maroon in a rental push for the wild card. We had the "huge" win, so I am guessing Drury will push all his chips in for the most underwhelming TDL ever.

  10. The issue with Gabe is his size. Some smaller skill guys adjust to the NHL others do not so time will tell on this one but I am excited to see what he can do here.
