As sad as it is, I am with you about being sellers. And yes, we’re not going to get a top six for Marchand, and therefore I don’t see the value of trading him at this point, unless we want to send a message that we’re tearing everything down.
The only players who should be exempt from being traded are McAvoy, Hampus, Pasta, Poitras, Lysell, Merkulov. Everyone else should be available for the right price. In addition, Sacco cannot be made full time coach and Sweeney needs to be dismissed. Possibly get rid of Neely too and have a completely fresh start.
The 1st and second lines were fine. The 3rd and 4th lines were invisible. Bottom line, we just don’t have enough talent.

Boston gets an expiring deal and a 2nd in this year's draft, which they don't have currently.

Honestly, this is just a deal to get him where he might have some small success. San Jose needs players to play alongside Celebrini and Smith, and the 4th is probably going to be the most you can get from any team with multiple picks to offer.
Id rather the bruinsnot make the playoffs. Trade away the garbage and just let the rest of the season play out. The teams doing the same thing they have all year look brillant for 3-4 games. Then lose 5-6.

I am happy about the four players that are playing the tournament Let the play with great players to remind the how good they are. Swayman and Elias Lindholm take a bow. Marchand can’t take 2 weeks off because he will take 3 weeks to get going. McCoy has had enough time off. He will be playing against the best players all the time. Let’s hope it brings out the best in them all. Go B’s

What Pasta has been able to do with the players around him is beyond insane, the guy is incredible.
As far as the deadline goes, please sell. I love Freddy, Carlo, and I’ve come around on Geekie, but if you can get some picks or some young prospect talent in return, I think that’s the direction you need to move in. Selling makes more sense and I’d love to see Merk and Lysell get some time and get to look forward to them ACTUALLY being in the lineup next season. And even if you sell, who knows maybe you still find a way to sneak into the playoffs? Either way we gotta start looking towards the future.

So swap out just the two guys behind the bench, what's the outcome? Coaching is a big deal for a vulnerable team and our loveable goober isnt hacking it again and again. We need to be buyers in the coaching ranks.
I only caught the second period.. Vegas was playing terrible and the Bruins just give away the puck every time they had it.. zero passing accuracy.. if they were aiming at anything or anyone..when they received the puck via a lucky pass or however,, it was a noisy clack sound… like Canadian university hockey level… everything is rough and no one has any vision or awareness. This is going to be a super rough off season .. not even thinking about the rest of this season..looking past draft and how to fix this mess.. coaching would have to be an important piece. I can’t see the current staff doing it.

IMO i think it's time to really thinking about selling and getting some things back in return for the following season(s). As mentioned before.. the Marchand talk needs to happen NOW(regardless of reported rumors etc etc). Pasta-Hampus-Swayman-MCavoy-Poitras would be my Safe guys and everyone else is on the table.
Freddy-Coyle-Wahlstrom i would 100% say time to move on. Carlo i really enjoy on our team but he's been really off his game this year. BEECHER is absolute dogass.
Just give Merk and Lysell some minutes at this point..

The weak Whitecloud goal was a dagger, but too many times I’ve seen Pasta set up teammates, this game Zacha and Geekie, and result in no goals. It’s happened all year. Also, the defense has been chasing the puck all year and leaving players open.
