Cam Robinson is coolish on the Canucks’ deals. He’s fine with the Miller deal but doesn’t like that they had to surrender a first-round pick in the Marcus Pettersson trade. He says there should be a market for Soucy but wonders why the Canucks would move a potential playoff contributor after making a trade for two unrestricted free agents. He doesn’t see a fit for Ottawa’s Josh Norris, even if he loves the idea of acquiring Quinn Hughes’ best friend. And he says Miller falls short of Ring of Honour worthiness.

I think Dawson Mercer is a more likely target.
I'd rather our new big Czech centre (our good version of Libor Polasek) become a 2nd line centre and then the focus can switch to a scoring winger.
I agree. Chytil is better than a third line centre but not a legit second line centre
Mancini was more than just a throw in. Canucks management targeted him. He's a late bloomer. Some guys take a little longer to develop. Big, mobile, physical puck moving right shot defenceman
Chytil and O'Connor excel off the rush rather than the Tocchet system of dump & chase.
I can see Soucy going back to Seattle.
I getting the sense that the canucks are close to blowing up. IMO this core wasnt doing much without Miller and dont see that changing without him. I hope it doesnt mean losing Hughes but, maybe unavoidable. Don't see EP40 driving this team into playoff territory and really thats whats needed if they are going to make it.
