  1. I'm all for talking about the Wild, but to say the NHL is terrified of them is hilarious. Until they do something in the playoffs, nobody will take them seriously. Bad PK and all the injuries.

  2. The Wild are stockpiling a D core for years. They need one or two of the forward prospects to develop. Yulov – Ohgren – Heidt and add in a solid free agent. I’m really looking at next season..

  3. Guerin has done a great job continuing to stockpile prospects and assets, AND keeping the team competetive while dealing with the huge cap penalties. What he does with it in the next 2-3 years will really dictate how we remember his tenure.

  4. i have to see it before i will believe it………….the wild cannot keep their players on the ice. Every year it is injury after injury and then late in the season they are on the borderline of making or not making the playoffs

  5. At this point, the Wild have, what they believe, are two first round D picks who will play. It's a matter of when. Plus, they still will want to look for a deal on a another free agent D man to keep the funnel full. I watched two games of the Iowa Wild last weekend, on a buddies weekend, and the entire teams defense was awful. Not many future NHLers on that roster.
