  1. Dobson, barzal, for pettersson, willander. I’m not sure how I feel about this but it just came to mind so I figured I’d throw it out there. Don’t really wanna trade willander

  2. Sure, Dobson and Nelson and a plug for Petey. They can use Nelson for the rest of the season to get them over the hump and then they can trade Dobson for some real good young center depth or a couple of them for next season.

  3. Yea i think our D is pretty set at this point for the foreseeable future. We need to focus on our Top 6 now. If we trade Petey there better be a damn good C in the picture either from the return or from assets from the return. Ship has sailed on Dobson imo

  4. Even with all his offensive skills, Dobson scares me. He's just not a very good defender. I'm thinking it's going to be Dobson, a prospect, and picks if there is a trade for anyone. Lou won't break up the core as long as the team's in contention and they're looking good right now.

  5. Man, why in the hell would the Canucks trade a 100-point caliber for a decent defenceman? Canucks d-core is pretty much set. EVEN IF the Canucks trade away EP40 for Dobson, where would our offence be? Who can you replace in the offensive side? Some of your takes are actually just sad man.. respect you, but you are literally throwing stuff out there.

  6. The problem with a trade like that is that even if Chytil turns out to be a good 2nd line centre, they will need to replace Pettersson on the top line. Top line centres don't grow on trees and I'd rather give him more time to get his game back than have to basically start from scratch. Who is out there that they can get without selling the entire farm to replace him? They already fixed the d-core to a great degree. Boeser will probably be traded, so now you have to replace a winger and a centre in your top 6. Their best bet is trade Brock and EP40 gets his game back.

  7. Hope we trade Petey so I can hear you not say “EEEliasss petttteerrrsssoonn” anymore lol

  8. We don't need Noah ,we have Mancini and Wahlander.I think they should sit Petey in the press box for 1or2 games and bring up Rati

  9. Have some faith in EP40 guys.

The next trade should be to help EP40 find his scoring touch again. Boeser will probably go the other way, unless he signs with us at a discount.

    Simon Holmstrom from NYI?

  10. Trade Elias Pettersson, Nils Hoglander, and Brock Boeser to the NYI for Noah Dobson, Brock Nelson, and Mathew Barzal.

  11. I mean he wants a goal scorer. If Boeser is willing to extend there he could fit the bill. You never know with Lou, he seems to like older guys

  12. The yips are real. They just sound like they aren't because of their genesis. It's like a hybrid of OCD and performance anxiety.

  13. i hate to say it because I love EP40 and I'd love to see him get his game back, but I dont think Tocchet's game style suits him and never will. It's time to unload him, for HIS sake. Dobson and Horvat for EP and Forbort or Juulson? Am I dreaming to much, probably. But Dobson fits the profile that JR and Alvinn are looking for, and I think Horvat could be a good fit to the new core, as well as already having built in chemistry if Vancouver resigns Boeser. That or we find a way to make a trade/deal for Sam Bennett on July 1st.

  14. This would be amazing our top 4 defence would be the best in the league. We can find replacements for jt and petty in free agency. You can’t find guys like Dobson very often!

  15. Boeser, Kudryavtsev and 2025 2nd rd pick for
    Dobson

    Pettersson, Hoglander, Soucy
    To BUF
Cozens, Tuck, Benson Konsta Helenius 2025 2nd rd pick.

  16. Although we have an excellent coach in Vancouver it does mean he is the right coach for Peterson.Pre tocchet pettersson was a superstar now not so much. Is the coach not allowing him to play his game but making him play a system that does not work for pettersson.
