  1. Slaf one hand on stick to much. He should have gone to Laval until gained confidence before starting with Habs even though 2nd half of last year was better but now he’s reverted back to early last years play

  2. As a devils fan. This was way closer then a 4:0. Hutson is a stud👍i hope u still get into a playoff spot. U played so great in the winninh streak. I also saw the first period vs the leafs that was some awesome hockey. U guys think evans is going to get traded? What u expect as a return?

  3. Laine – he never worked out in Winnipeg, he never worked out in Columbus and now i do not believe he's going to work in Montreal.

I think he spends too much time in his own head. I mean I get it, as I have struggled with MH for many years so it's my belief until HE works it out one way or another, he may not be long for the NHL. So disappointing because I was really rooting for him, however….he is not proving to be a team player and not prepared to do what he has to do to be successful.

On to next year I guess…GHG

  4. Grant is right it’s time to change the makeup of the team Slaf Matheson then your UFA’s all most go! As for one game it’s now 6 I think Hughes knows and has seen enough to make things happen! Btw if your thinking it’s their defensive play is the main problem think again! They have no scoring on any line at the moment! Pretty bad when Beck Mailloux Hutson are for the most part your best players! There’s a couple more who are giving the effort like Anderson and Carrier add Gally Xhejki and yes today Dach! First order of business for tomorrow is to sit Slaf or put him on the 4th line he’s handcuffed that line with his lack of effort not shooting when he has a open lane, not going to the front of the net and not moving his feet!

  5. These are YOUNG BOYS …playing against MEN ….Still need to mature and grow up with more MAN MUSCLE …!! THE DEFENSE IS A MESS !! SAVARD has to go ….The team seems to have little urgency…That's a coach issue ..!!

  6. First, let’s start with getting a #1 center. Then, signing Rantanen OR Ehlers. Trade for Cozens or Dobson. Zebras is way to injury prone and soft, we already have injury prone players in our team, we don’t need another. My prediction for the top 6 next year :
    Demidov-Rantanen-Caufield
    Slafkovsky-Suzuki-Cozens

  7. Great show guys, but you need to make these episodes longer, at least 30 minutes. The episodes now are way to short..👍

  8. Rather than shots on goal I prefer to count high-danger scoring chances. Shots don't count for much when they come from the point with no traffic in front.

  9. They simply stopped the 2nd and 3rd effort. Perhaps they don't believe in their chances of making the playoffs and they fear needlessly getting injured. Let's not deviate from the plan. My prediction is Savard does not get traded out of respect.

  10. Laine is a ghost and very soft 5 V 5 while turning into one of those "I'll play when I feel like it" kind of guys. He's been solved on the power play and as Chris Nilan put it, you never go far in the playoffs when playing soft. He's not what the Habs need to go further.

  11. There is something going on either in the dressing room or too many off ice distractions. There is no longer enough reasons to win and too many excuses. As a lifelong Habs Fan since the 1960's, the lackluster drive in this team is pathetic. Monty needs to go,he is nothing other than a French DEI hire. He can get a job as a Taxi Driver like in the Nike Goalie Commercials. This afternoons game goes to prove what I have been saying that we should have kept Jake and gotten rid of Monty. To be fair the goals that Monty has been letting in were not his fault, they were shooting at his weak spot, they got the shot on the net.lol. Monty makes Red Light Racicot look like a Vezina contender. For those Habs Fans too young to know who Andre Racicot was google him.

  12. Dobes gives them lot of confidence. Matheson regularly making mistakes. Dobes should play a lot more. Right now the team is lacking confidence after a great run. Noorul

  13. Habs 10 scoring chances zero goals, Devils 4 scoring chances 3 goals, man they suck. First line is a second line, we neeed Demidov to make this first line a legit first line, Slaf is a second line forward.

  14. That Toronto game changed everything. They gave up a 3 goal lead and were shocked back to who they really are and lost all their mojo.

  15. Laine has proven to be a one trick pony. Basically invisible at even strength. It’s a shame that the hot streak didn’t last a little longer; it’s back to reality now boys, but tomorrow is another day. Go Habs!

  16. They are plain and simple out of gas. January = 30k travel kilometers east coast to west coast (time zone altitude changes) playing the best teams in the league. Our young guys aren't used to playing 82 games a year and the vets are too old for a schedule that bad. Let's see what happens after the break. GO HABS GO!
