  1. it is ok to lose this one. it is unlikely to beat jets for conf title. that means we will play avs or a healthy wilds. why do we want play them in the 1st round. it is probably better to play kings.

  2. EVAN BOUCHARD FOR MIKHAIL SERGACHEV … he’s only 26, has won a cup, gritty and tough, has more dimensions than Bouch, and is locked in for a few more years at 8.5 million, and has put up the same offence as Bouchard so far this year. Way better than overpaying Bouchard with 10 million locked in for 8 years, and getting stuck with a one-dimensional defensive liability. And, as he gets back into it, Klingberg can take Bouchard’s power play spot and slot in beside Ekholm 🙂

  3. If you don't play solid defensive hockey, you must have a great goalie to bail you out…and Skinner just isn't.

  4. I can't believe the organization isn't even considering getting a goalie, from what Bowman has said. This is getting insane

  5. Another GREAT game by Skinner : only 3 goals in 11 shots 😜super job by Bouchard 4 turnovers + 1 very important give away

"Star" performance by McDavid ( – 3 ), and Hyman ( – 3 )🤪 Resume: Oilers need more GERMANS to win games

  6. Kris, you should take all the blame for the lose. Many mistake you make lately. No excuses for most of the lose. Many games down 2 goals or more and needed to come from behind or up 2 goals and end up losing the game. Use the wrong goalie and defence are suck. Too much bullshit Kris. You're the one to be blame.

  7. Chris, you lost this game by betting Skinner on the goal. You are a hostage of the situation, you are inside the team, personal communication, listening to Skinner promise you to play better, but you do not understand – you will never take the cup with the number 74 in the goal. Just because he is a very bad goalkeeper, it is evident from year to year by his game and the complete lack of any progress. He confidently caught the star and believed that he was a top goalkeeper – and for any goalkeeper, this is the end. I heard his interview where, after failed matches, he said that he was doing great and made a couple of great saves. Chris, going to the playoffs with Skinner would be like simply removing a team from the playoffs by giving your place to any team that doesn't get there. In the most important matches, as always, he will concede 3 goals from 5 shots and destroy the morale and strength of the guys. He's already stolen two playoffs from them. If you go with him to the third one, you will lose the team. You can see how Colorado was preparing for the game – they knew that if they just threw at the goal, Skinner would let everything go. He always launches the usual attacks from the middle of the zone, especially in traffic. Chris, if you want the cup, you need another goalkeeper. Do you hope that Skinner will be able to? Don't get your hopes up, he won't be able to, it's not his level. Any team in the league would have gotten rid of him a year ago.

  8. Oilers against the top ten teams in the league this season are 4 wins and 10 losses, not going anywhere with those numbers.

  9. Skinner never steals a game. Needs a true #1 goalie for cup run. Nurse is terrible, mediocre, grade C, 5/6 D that seldom plays hard, always soft on pucks, on a true cup contending teams. I wish he could be traded, but have to eat 50% of his salary, plus to give up 4-5 1st round picks (because the team still has to pay him $4.625 for 5 more years, he is worth at best 3M).
