Elliotte Friedman on the J.T. Miller trade, what’s next for Pettersson and more
Hockey Night in Canada Insider Elliotte Friedman joined the guys and recapped Friday’s J.T. Miller trade by the Canucks and if he expects more trades by the Canucks.
Fuck this team was a big fan of not only Miller but Kuzy as well. And hoglander and they have traded them all away (hoglander healthy scratch and be traded soon). The miller trade was the last straw. Had tickets for the Avs game coming up and sold them . Won’t ever go to a game again and this is from a former season ticket holder
I hope Mancini can rise to the occasion and play either top pair or 2nd pair. He is young (D's take long to develop and he is 22), is a pretty big guy but supposedly fast, and as a right shot, will he be a guy who can play with Quinn Hughes at Hughes' speed? That would be nice.
I keep hearing it was "untenable" and Miller and Petey were incompatible BUT…why did we keep Petey and not Miller? Everyone is so secretive. WHAT HAPPENED!!????
Definitely they were moving the puck better and they were moving it around the house faster that was a good thing, but still not enough shots their big pout their big player P has to step it up and relinquishes silly little ego

I'd rather have JT in the trenches when playoffs come. The North America way heart. I just don't see it from petty. Poor Tocket I wonder if it was up to him who he would trade??? Tobad the boys couldn't work it it out.
Canucks need Demko to come back to being Demko….that way, they have strong goaltending, strong D……just need a couple of top 6 forwards or even 3 or 4. Build from the goalie out……need more strength down the middle.
