GAME RECAP: Penguins at Rangers (02.07.25) | Tomasino Buries Go-Ahead Goal



The Penguins’ stout defense fended off a last minute opportunity by the New York Rangers to cement a 3-2 win at Madison Square Garden on Friday evening. Pittsburgh’s Blake Lizotte, Philip Tomasino and Rickard Rakell all notched goals while Bryan Rust tallied two assists.

  1. Those back to back penalties in the 3rd were iffy, glad they were able to hang onto the lead. Ned came up big late in the 3rd

  2. What a hockey game boys. Wow. So impressive tonight. Happy for your dad's/brothers/friends/cousins etc. You boys were solid and never backed down and never gave up. Great D tonight, and Ned you rocked it. That block by Acciari and POJ at the end was fancy lol

  3. There's no excuse for not playing defense from here on out, you guys won this game without a shot on goal in the 3rd period.

Rangers are not wanting to win bad enough, they will not or not I should say playoff contenders, even with Crosby and Malkin out theu show no skills, terrible passing, it's like nothing they learned though the years is alive in there brain, what acsad looking team, as I said before, last year was a fluke
