Petey puts more training towards his Tennis game than on the Ice and spends to much vacation time in Spain in the summer instead of the weight room.
pettersson needs to be criminally charged. He is essentially scamming the canucks $11.5 million for doing nothing.
I thought that Pety would have been put on a muscle building program 5 years ago. He could easily put 35 lbs of muscle on his frame in 5 years. Yet nothing ? Some slight guys are strong , Pety is not . He would thrive in a Swedish league , but not in the nhl.

I watched the Canucks vs Sharks game in San Jose. EP40 is the center of the first line, with Boeser and Garland as his wingers. Boeser had two SOGs in the first period, and that was it for the line for the rest of the game. That was against the worst team in the league. Defenseman Petterson had three SOGs in that game. So much for the $11 million dollar man. EP40 should be playing in the Swedish league. There is a tier 1 SHL team in Timra, Timra IK, which is a half hour drive from Pettersson's home in Sundsvall. Trade him for an ABBA greatest hits album.

Him talking about Pettersen’s physical ability is like Troy talking about how dumb a horse is. I’ve seen Pettersen throw a Betruzzi power hit. Same idea as the the slap shot comp… that he won…

The media is relentless, give the kid a break, he’s had a rough time with miller for better part of a year, that hit a breaking point, he was dealing with his contract from last year, has the world on his shoulders. He’s got to have a certain amount of guilt with the organization trading miller, give him a chance to clear his conscience, he can’t flip a switch and just get back, have any of you had that kind of pressure in your lives? Probably not

Agreed, you have Hughes, Hronek and Pettersson who are all capable of logging 22+ minutes on any given night. In fact, even Myers has been doing that recently. Then you round it out with Soucy, Forbort, EP25 in your bottom pairing is quite nice. Next year, Mancini and Willander will provide more competition. If the Canucks can figure out their 1C situation, this is a dangerous wildcard team who has played much better on the road. I'm not sure any top seed is looking forward to that first round.
