  1. Marty Necas is just sick. He has some of the greatest speed/skils from a forward that I've ever seen and the guy just turned 26. Now you pair him with MacKinnon and Makar….uh oh. Meanwhile the Moose only has 2 points in Carolina. Colorado is a true 2C away from probably being a serious cup contender. Detroit keeps making bad decisions for years with their prospects. It's good to see them turning it around now.

  2. I was really hoping we would have traded for his RFA rights last off season. Would be a huge upgrade at 2C over anything else we have

  3. Its so nice watching avs right now being a habs fan seeing some skilled hockey was great tonight Necas is amazing imagine if Kent actually did his job and snagged him this summer.

  4. Welcome to the post-salary cap Ken Holland experience.

The ultimate "what if" that makes me wonder still to this day is Parise and Suter going to Minnesota instead of Detroit. They only ever won. 2 playoff series together in Minneapolis, and the Red Wings were never the same when those 2 passed them up. In hindsight, it looks like the wrong decision for everyone when they chose Minnesota.

  5. Well I will always miss,& love Mico…but Necas has been PHENOMENAL since we traded for him. 9pts in 8 games I think it is & that's even with some rotten/buzzard luck til last night…he's hit like 7 or 8 posts since he got here,& won the game in Edmonton tonight-Avs most impressive win of the season so far with us on a back 2 back,& Edmonton not. It was so similar to when they were on back 2 back & we werent-but beat us here in Denver at Ball arena-where I work-earlier this year by scoring late in regulation in a tie game.(& they overcame 3-0 deficit that night). Long, tough road for both teams but it'd be an unbelievable WCF if both could get that far.

  6. This is a weird video. What about the other teams that passed on Necas and got players even worse than Rasmussen? Nolan Patrick at 2, Cody glass at 6, Lias Andersson at 7? Not to mention mittelstadt, tippett, and vilardi who have all been traded by the team that drafted them. Good players are passed on every draft. It happens
