I agree. I would have to find a way to make the Dobson trade work. He is an absolute fit for the Habs, my opinion. GO HABS GO !!!!
Were in the same wild card spot with Islander. They would never do a trade like that. Plus if Slaf goes there I feel like he would excel soo hard with Barzal. And were gonna hate ourselves.
Lane Hutson is really overshadowing Slaf. And im not sure how to feel about that.

I think there could be some creative 3 team trade that could work – Habs don’t have enough of what Isles want. (I don’t think management wants to trade Laine)
Dobson for Laine? Islanders want a top end scoring forward, laine is that but does not much else. How much would have to be added in on top of laine for this trade?
i feel like a package of Matheson, a 1rst this year, a 3rd and oliver Kapanen for Dobson could be a good deal or something to look at atleast!
Dobson would be amazing, but they’re gonna be asking for Caufield in my opinion.
If the trade includes Matheson or Mailloux, Dach or Newhook or 1st round picks I’m fine with it

Not a big fan of this 4 nations thing. Not a true best on best without the rest of the world (Russia, Czech Republic, Slovaks). Schedule sucks because of it. Too many double headers are just ridiculous.
