Im hoping for some enlightenment here… if the flyers are not going to be good for another 4-5 years… why have a guy like kuzmenko in this trade? Was it solely for calgary to get cap space?….he is just a rental to the end of the year right? And what about konecny? I like his style, he is a good player. But he will be old by the time this team is good… so why are we keeping him? This org seems reqlly reluctant to completely tear this thing down. And it just feels like a half in, half out approach…

Konecny is the Guy to trade before this summer after that Will have His New Contract of 8 years too long for that kind of player , maybe have a chance to big return for Him 🤷🤔🏒
Thanks Rachel and Russ. I'm not watching or going to the games, so I rely upon your updates, and after game shows on YouTube. See what a difference a game makes when the shackles are off and players can be true to themselves. Plus, some kids are getting a chance, and a look. Even though they lost, at least there is some development time. Not only does the team need to commit to a full rebuild, the coaching staff needs a refreshing. With the draft picks being a little far from being an immediate payoff, who could fill in in the meantime? Who in LHV is ready to make the leap? I don't want to sign any vets for leadership roles, and I don't see a big names wanting to come to Philly. Who do we resign to new contracts? Great discussion as usual. Enjoy the weekend, all.
