How dominant was Aatu Räty’s performance at the 2021 WJSS?
Räty put up 14 points over 6 games, looking over the last 5 WJSS, how dominant was Räty’s performance at this year’s “tournament”? And what can we take away from it?
I was shocked he fell so far. Pinelli also. I can't believe some of the guys who went ahead of them. I really do like Bolduc, Johnston, Bourgault and Svechkov. But I certainly would have taken Raty over all 4 and Pinelli over at least Bolduc, Johnston and Bourgault. Svechkov has a higher floor but a lower ceiling. But anyway, I really, really was hoping my NYR would trade into the 2nd round to take Raty or Pinelli when they fell. Didn't happen and highly disappointed, because I honestly would have been ok with either of those guys in the 1st round over Othmann. But getting Othmann and one of those two would have been a huge draft win. Anyway, HUGE steal for the Isles. This guy might be riskier than other players, but he has top 5 ceiling. Well worth taking a chance on at the back end of round 1 and a huge theft in round 2.

i was crying blood when philly took samu tuomaala and not raty when they has a change. both finns but raty has lot more potential to be elite player
