If Kreider was open to moving to Winnipeg (and Winnipeg may well be on his no-trade list), the Jets may be more likely to trade Ehlers for him over Perfetti. Ehlers is on his last year of his contract and has a similar contract to Kreider.

I have been watching this team faithfully every game since the early 2000’s. I remember Chris’s first game it was in the playoffs, this guy plays the same way every season. When he’s at his best he just parks his @$$ in front of the net, he hasn’t hustled on a regular basis since his 50+ goal season. He’s a big time goal scorer that relies on his linemates to get him the puck. With Mika on a down slide that’s the reason why he’s ineffective, Mika can’t even make contact on a one timer lol

Do you think Minnesota would be interested as an upgrade to the middle 6? Only problem being tight cap situation. With Kreider having that gritty playstyle Minny loves, I think he would be a good fit especially with Minnesota's window about to open.

Any team on Kreider's trade list are near the cap already. So Rangers would have to take back similar cap. So it's kinda of a moot point if Kreider gets traded. Only reason Rangers would make this trade is gain cap space.

Kreider would only go to Boston. Kreider haters, especially Rangers fans are and have been clowns.
Trouba, Lindgren and Miller have to go.

(DISCLAIMER) READ HERE FOR THE TRUTH ABOUT KREIDER… It's kind of funny how people who don't watch the Rangers on a daily basis. Through this whole video he is mislabeled… Here's the truth about Kreider:
While it may be thought by hockey fans that don't follow the NYR's all the time… Kreider is not physical at all (go ahead and find some highlight hits by Chris Kreider!)… still looking – don't waste your time : ) Also his "competitive spirit" is extremely inconsistent. I love the guy… He's had HUGE moments for them and bleeds Rangers blue – but Ranger fans have been waiting for him to play physical since the day he broke into the league, it's really frustrating. He rarely hits anyone and when he does it's more of a bump and he almost never seriously engages in scrums, he adds nothing as far as chirping or getting under other teams skin as well or being hard to play against. The best way to describe him is a "polite" player. He's overly cerebral and over thinks everything – He always has an intense look (that is just him thinking to much) and while he's fast and built like a tank he plays polite! He is super streaky/enigmatic too. Some nights he's flying all over the ice and other nights he has earned the nickname "casper" for turning into a ghost. At this stage of his career he barely skates anymore. He just parks in front of the net and waits for deflections. See his nine goals and zero assists. Although he is legit the best player at deflections in the history of the NHL. Love CK20 but at this point if there's a GM who believes he plays like the guy mentioned in this video – please give us a good trade!!

The blues are not trading for kreider unless it doesnt involve removing someone from the roster, and our salary cap says thats not possible. We have a number of youngsters about to make a splash, we are not going to put an anchor of a contract in front of them on the depth chart, and his presence isnt making us cup contenders. The only player we might be interested in is k'andre miller, and thats not happening either because the rags would ask for a kings ransom.

No way in hell would the Blues take on that albatross. Too many young players that are in the way up to stack that in front of. Blues look to get younger and faster not older and slower.

Great Video, as usual, Nathan. While I don't see My Rangers trading Chris Kreider, I do see a Pavel Buchnievich for a Jacob Trouba (add picks & prospects as needed) Trade. This gives St. Louis Blues Defense that they need & reunites Kreider, Zibanejad & Buchnievich, that has obviously been a missing catalyst on The Rangers. Let me know what you think

I think Dallas should really consider this we still haven’t replaced pavelski on the top line Johnston has struggled to fill his role. Kreider would be perfect especially with seguin on LTIR now
