I'd say about the deadline- I'm conflicted. I want our young guys to keep going and get the experience.. but if you can add a guy that will help put you over the top I think you do it. What I would say is we need a 3 top d man maybe a rental..we can't parade Holl and Petry out there. We need a 4th line C (sorry veleno isn't it) that will be physical and score you some goals. Ideally I'd like a top 2 C behind Larkin..Copp (surprisingly so) has done a great job with Kane and Cat the past month..but a little more skill with Kane and Cat on the 2nd line and you are talking about a real contender. If we got some one like Couzins to be our top 2 C that pushes copp and compher down to 3 and 4th lines and pushes Veleno out..sorry he just isn't good.
before the coaching change when the defense pinched in the O-zone the forwards wernt coming back to cover the spot;now its automatic when they do and its paying off bigly with odd man rushes the other way to leave the goalie dam near helpless! great turnaround for this club no big name trades did it; just a coach that knows how to coach! 🤷♂️💪😊💪👍
