Tribute til Michael Rasmussen – Tour de France 2007
En Tribute til danske Michael Rasmussen der efter 16. etape af dette års tour de france blev fyret fra hans hold og derved blev smidt ud af Tour de France.
I'm assuming you're referring to Vinokourov and the other dopers !! As far as MR goes, NO proof WHATSOEVER has been submitted that he lied nor cheated. If that had been the case, it'd be acceptable. But to exclude a rider PURELY based on hearsay, is a disgrace!!! (regardless who the rider is).
Then tell me why he didn't jsut show his passport which WOULD have the evidence proving that he had been in Mexico at all times – I think he would do that in order to stay in the Tour. Furthermore those 22 days or something like that where they (Anti Doping people) weren't able to test him he could have doped himself – making it impossible to trace later on but giving him the extra in the long run… And that's a fact 😉 So statement still stands as a comment to Rasmussen.

Still doesn't change the fact that he hasn't shown the easiest evidence, which could clear him of all charges and – if he has it. (Talking about the mark u get in your passport when u travel in and out of countries)… It would prove his explanation right – and he says he doesn't lie.. just show it then, much easier than going to court etc. :S
I have to agree, in part, with Kiilisch here. I'm a Lance fan, but believe me, that guy was extremely meticulous about his paperwork AND training. He used to not only check whether or not his whereabouts are notified to the authorities, but asked for their confirmation. Being at the top requires commitment, and responsibility. Rasmussen would have done much better if he remembered that.
rasmussen never tested positive but he did miss 4 anti doping tests which in effect make it so he has 4 positives. because 1 missed test is considered a positive. plus he lied about where he was and he admitted that, so in the minds of all cyclists he is a dirty rider and the team was right to get rid of him.
the coordinator of the tour de france did not do anyhting to michael rasmussen it was the team that took action.
Plus he had no chance to win with a TIME TRIAL comming up he is the worst timetrialist in the peloton so he would have lost it there he would have droped to third place.

no you are wrong there was a timetrial 2 days after he was removed from his team. it was the stage before they went to paris so you are the stupid one. get your information right before you say that to people. oh yeah he was removed after the 16th stage and there are 20 stages so how were there only 2 stages left i beleive that would be 3 left including 1 timetrial so he had no chance.
Man o man, I miss you very much this Tour. I am sure team Rabobank knowed about your stay in Italy last year. But they are playing some dirty game. Michael… your still my hero !!!

Michael Rasmussen was the best of the tour 07' unfortunately no one wanted to believe that this man really just is such a great climber as he is.
Rasmussen forever! Doping or not, he is the best rider of this years tour.
