They didnt find common ground, when Trump learned we weren't going to just roll over and accept his stupid tariffs, he decided maybe this isn't so smart, whatever he pputs for tariffs, Canada will just make the money back in other areas from the US. We definitely saw the jackets struggle tonight without Marchy and Zach. Hopefully the new lines can form short term chemistry. I good ‘lesson’ for the younger guys…. The long season/grind and I love my Canadian friends.

In soccer National anthems are only played in international matches e.g. Canada v USA. Not used in domestic games or Continental competitions such as Champions League etc.

Amazing that Russia and Belarus continue to be banned but the nation that has caused continuous bloodshed across the the world, the US, gets a free pass.
The playing, of both the U.S. and Canada anthems, is silly. I believe it started when Buffalo entered the league. Having many cross-border Canadian fans, the Sabre's thought it was a good idea to play them both. That was 1970. That's practically 2 centuries ago…

Concerning anthems: I remember when we had issues with France and a bunch of knuckleheads were going around saying "I refuse to eat French Fries and I will never use Frenche's Mustard." Boy they really showed them didn't they?
