  1. You guys and Steve Dangle are the only 2 places seeing this trade for what it is. A good Win Win trade for both teams. Does this trade help the flams NOW more then it helps the flyers NOW. 100% but does it hurt the flyers that much, no, and does it have, imo, more potential for upside then the calgery side, yes.

  2. yes, glad Danny did something….Farabee and Frost weren't really moving the needle for the Flyers despite both getting a ton of opportunity. Frost seemed to have a ton of talent but too nice a guy and maybe a little flaky…. and despite being a center, they didn't see enough production to sign him to a long term deal. Farabee is a mystery. May not have been happy here for whatever reason. Hard to judge the trade in terms of what we are getting back….certainly not on the surface a great return. Let's see what else Danny may do before the trade deadline.

  3. My take might not be mainstream but I think getting Farabee off the ice makes the flyers way better. He plays so soft and looked terrified to take a hit. He drug every line he was on down with him. I’m glad we opened up some cap space by moving him

  4. As a Flames fan you’ll love Peltier but is small. Kuz will dazzle at times but is lazy, slow and will be in the KHL soon. All the best to both players going.

  5. You guys will like Pelletier. It's hard not to. Plays with energy, has some finish and goes to dirty areas. The reason his production dropped off the last 2 years was he sustained a serious shoulder injury last season and didn't come back until January 2024 and looked tentative, like he was scared to get hit. The Flames also have lots of left shot wingers so moving him made sense. He will be missed though. He was a locker room favorite.

  6. Pelletier is well loved by fans and players. We're going to miss him and he could turn out to be a solid second line guy.

  7. What the f… did Briere do? Traded for a goofball who eats bananas and drinks coke on the bench. I think Briere is mentally challenged. πŸ˜…

  8. Why didn't Briere trade Frost and Beezer fir Necas. A young talented forward who can skate and score with great vision. F… Briere, screwed up again.

  9. Classic Flyers, don't develop 2 first round picks, then trade them for a guy who was on waivers a few months ago and a guy about to be waived.
Love the Flyers but the last 10 years have been rough

  10. Like everyone says, you guys will love Pelletier. Great attitude, and will be missed. His biggest issue is the lack of offensive production given his size. Guys at that size need a higher skill set, IMO, to succeed in the NHL like Brier, Gaudreau and T. Fleury to name a few. Jakob doesn't have that level of talent, but he is the one teammate that everyone loves and he has a lot of hustle. Kuz has a great attitude as well, is a little crazy (but in a good way), has a wicked shot, but his defensive play is rare. Will be interesting to see who the Flyers land with the 2nd and how Frost and Farabee do long term with the Flames. I agree, good trade for both sides.

  11. Taking A Flyer On Pelletier & Kuzmenko Who Are Both Very Talented Is Interesting.
The Second Pick Was Probably The Most Important Piece For Briere & Torts.
Pelletier & Kuzmenko However Are Diminutive And Non-Physical & Neither Are Scoring Often As They Should & Tend To Not Get In Close To The Net And Both It Seems Subconsciously Avoid Physical Contact.

By Subtraction Of Pelletier & Kuzmenko & Addition Of Farabee & Frost The Flames Just Got Much Bigger & Tougher, Added Scoring & Potential From Young Players With Skill & Physicality.

Pelletier & Kuzmenko Are Not Your Prototypical Broad Street Bullies However Of Late Both Have Been A Little Better And Occasionally Lightly Finish A Check.
I Really Do Hope This Works For Those Beleaguered Flyers Fans.

  12. You guys are idiots, pure and simple idiots. I will not subscribe to this joke of a channel. And this year he's only got 15 points in 37 games. There's a few ways I'm making sense of who's back out number one. He's a friend

  13. ok…. everybody breathe in, breathe out. calm the fk down. none of you are psychic. like all trades, we have to give it time. wait & see. from my p.o.v., i'm worried that both frost & farabee will become late bloomers. they're 25 & 24. i would not be shocked if frost becomes a 70 point player, 25g 45a, for several seasons. farabee could hit 30g for a few seasons. or, they both could flop & end up as journeymen. i don't know why folks are saying kuz is going to the khl, as if it's written in stone. remember, michkov was supposed to be in the khl for at least 3 seasons, & look what happened. relax. also, torts does not have a lifetime contract. just fkn chill, & let's see what happens. firing briere is not going to fix anything right now. easy tiger.

  14. Nobody will notice Frost and Farabee are gone, because for the most part, they weren't noticeable when they were playing. Maybe it was coaching, which I suspect is a large part of why they were ineffective. Torts doesn't impress me at all, this is a rebuild, the kids need to play. They should not be punished by benching for mistakes. The best way to learn is to make those mistakes. The Flyers are not even close to making the playoffs. Does benching really help?

  15. Good job guys. Can you please tell me why, at 8:24, Columbus pick is in yellow with a dot, meaning its conditional. Didn't Columbus decide to not give the Flyers the pick from last year, so it AUTOMATICALLY becomes a 2025 2nd round pick? In other words, do we have Columbus' 2nd round pick no matter what? I thought so, but looking for clarification. Thanks boys.

  16. Frost -2 for the Flames in his first game. πŸ˜‚
Who fucking cares about the culture in the room.
This team sucks. Both were dead weight.

  17. Flames fan here. You guys are going to love Pelletier. He is better than his stats show. And is huge in the dressing room with his positivity and energy. Kuzmenko is an enigma. Talent coming out of the ying-yang when he wants to use it. Torts will be challenged to get him going.
