That was a feel good win. Hronek played great as the de facto number 1 D, we had a classic Demko performance, the new guys looked great, and Boeser/Debrusk looked good too. The only thing missing is EP40, he needs to turn it up.
The entire avalanche team got as many goals as Hughes did tonight. Hope he's back soon.

Now THAT was Demko! great goaltending display vs a very talented and fast team. Good chemistry with new guys, almost like a black cloud has been lifted and they are gonna go on a tear
The Refs were a little suspect there in the 3rd period. Very one sided calls. With that said, Demko played really well and Canucks have the speed to keep up with the Avs, which is rare. Colorado just needed one bounce to flip the momentum.
Miles Wood is bush-league.
My heart honestly skipped a beat when Chytil looked back and took that hit. It's only his second game but he's already 'endeared' himself to the fans with his speed and soft hands. I hope he can stay healthy.
