A point and an ovi goal can’t be mad
I understand, but scoring 4 goals against an elite goalie says enough about the Caps. Even the Ottowa loss seems less severe after watching what they did to Minnesota.
Maybe this bad patch will end up being a positive thing . They know they cannot stand pat to go deepin the Playoffs , and they hopefully do not have a false sense of security after this stretch . This could be a timely wake up call that standing pat would not be prudent .

The Caps have been excellent so far this season. Did anyone expect things would go as well as they have? They may not have as strong a second half. It's part of the territory. One thing they haven't done in a lot of games is dominating teams. Not just winning like 5-2 or 6-1. The overall play. It's because of the goaltending they've done as well as they've have. I would like to see them dominate and out play teams more but I don't think I'm willing to mortgage the future to get one or two rentals to accomplish this. They have a good direction right now. I think they should stick to it. Carbery for Jack Adams!!

I am a Jets fan, live in Winnipeg, the Caps looked pretty good to me. I watched the Avs vs Fliers and Buffalo vs Devils. Both of those games looked like crap compared to Jets and Caps.
