Didn't think NY would be this bad. I knew Boston would have their struggles. Let's be honest tho – What's the point of battling/giving up assets to barely get into the playoffs if you are already losing to those teams? If I'm Boston, it's time to take advantage of a down year bc it has been over a decade since they last missed the playoffs.
Rangers will have to play at a .650 pace for the rest of the season to make the playoffs. Not impossible, but it seems it lands on the unlikely side of things.
Nyr isnt winning anything until lindgren and kreider are replaced, i love them both but they are washed at this point and PL is playing them way too much, especially considering there are at least 3 players sitting or in the ahl that deserve to be playing over kreider, lindgren quite honestly is a disaster whenever he is on the ice
I don't think this is going to be a year to be happy and shoot for the playoffs. I think it's a "welp, that sucked, who do we move and who do we keep and how do we retool" kind of year. JT will be a piece to help keep the team motivated in the next few years, hopefully there are players around him that stay motivated. I'll enjoy every win we get, but I'll be fine with not having to buy playoff tickets this go around.

rangers dont have a stronger forward group than boston lmfao, i am a rangers fan. Drury but fucked us, because of his shitty iq. Zibanajad is a log, like his iq is low and buddy doesnt want to play becuase hes old af. Same with kreider. Panarin has high iq but obviously degrading because hes old. Trochek is an aight player and so is JT, but both are aging. Chytil was an amazing center to keep for rebuild/tool but Drury has 0 iq, and too emotional thats why he traded a point per game player, kakko, for scraps. I hope everyone in the fututre admits hes dumb
Miller will be 32 next month with 5 years left on his deal. Gave up a 25 year old skilled center, albeit with concussion issues, and another 1st round pick thrown away. Yet still nobody screaming for Drury's head. Rangers put there fortunes in the hands of a cocky little league champion who rode the coattails of guys like Sakic, Forsberg, etc.. You get what you pay for.
