Okay, since they made a couple of trades, I wanted to talk about their lineup and whether they need to make an addition or not.

*is that # 101 hits, or "LOL" (laugh out loud @ how bad juulsen is?
The Brass's decision on defense took us out of any Cup Contention. Right now I say we are a bubble team that could squeak into the playoffs to get blown out in 4-5 games. They keep making similar mistakes aquiring players. Move ahead go backwards move ahead and go backwards again. Never ending mediocrity. I think our window to win something was last year and now the window has closed. We took at least 3-4 steps backward from last year. Still a fan just do not think we are any where near contention. Lack of confidence with this group. This team will have to make a amazing turn around just to get in.
Put the Edm lines vs Canucks ones…Canucks don't look scary at all anymore š They look like a farm team.
Debrusk is not only streaky point wise but play wise too. He is barely effective half the time. I thought he would be more physical and tenacious than what he has shown so far
I look at these two trades as one three way trade. I'm happy with it considering Miller's issues.
The Sens are looking for scoring and people who cover them are wanting them to target Boeser. Hmm..Boeser in some kind of deal for younger center Josh Norris would check boxes for both teams. I'm sure "Trader Jim" and Allvin are scoping out all the possibilities, but if they aren't going to re-sign Boeser another young center with high potential would knock it out of the park right now!
Swap Joshua and Hoglander around until DJ gets his game back. Hog and Chytil could be fun to watch.
Juulsen has to sit. There's no way he's an upgrade over Soucy,
i think we took losses because demko got too many starts.
so question still is why everybody struggles?
Like you said, my concern is on the goaltending sideā¦
Can you do a breakdown on Coaches for next year with Ric and other Coaches maybe available
Juulsen is -12 in 35 games.
I'm gonna say it. Petey doesn't belong anywhere but 3rd or 4th line. He should have been a healthy scratch more than once this year. He really isn't very good overall. He needs to go before his trade value plummets
Canucks had it all on paper: Top-2 centres in Miller and Pety, a stud #1 dman in Hughes, and Demko in net. It's disappointing that they couldn't put everything together…
i look at vancouvers lineup rn and montreal and i think i take montreals. thats bad
Trish Stratus signed photo š
Juulsen needs to be 7th d, he throws hits but pulls himself out of position to do it constantly
Vancouver canucks defense needs to improve which would helps our goalies moving forwards ..Brock trade could bring back some top prospects if he's traded ..
the Canucks are more solid defensively and should improve if Demko comes back to form but they can't score enough to get anywhere.Miller could generate goals but with-out him DeBrusk and Boeser are inconsistent at best and Petey is missing in action—Canucks are two shooters from being a play-off team and with out production of Joshua the Canucks don't have a chance unless they defend like maniacs.Lack of scoring shows up as 11 over-time losses—-pathetic.
Canucks Hoglander and Joshua are missing in action and Canucks have nothing to lose by trading them at this point and elevating a couple of guys from Abbotsford.Time to keep trading and unfortunately I don't think Demko is going to ever get back to the top levels in the league—if anyone needs a goalie and has a scorer to trade I would say sorry Thatcher .You can only play one goalie at a time and they have to get scoring real soon.
Can Rick Tocchet coach and play at the same time? He has 440 career goals.
Play Hƶglander with Chytil
Where do I get a hockey guy Jersey
in my opinion its more better wings they need chytil will be good…
āDonāt trade this years draft pickā So weāre trading this years draft pick lol
Wouldn't Daniel Sprong be perfect in this top 6? Have Dakota Joshua, EP40 and Sprong on the same line and it might be the perfect balance
OHHAahhh the Vancouver Canucks… they've always been celebrate for their excellence. There is a hockey team in California by Paul Masson that is inspired by that excellence. hic
If they could have assembled the current roster and kept J T Miller!
Assuming they make the playoffs, I don't anticipate the Canucks being much of a factor.
Thanks for the video! Great info, details, and insights! Hard to win with those Nucks on your ice. I believe they can go deep even as is.
I think we should play Asriel as third right shot defenceman.
One thing I like about the new lineup (aside from the obvious of no more Miller drama) is the new players are much easier to move if they're not working out for us. They're young enough that a veteran team looking to get younger and rebuild or retool and with low enough cap hits would find them attractive assets they'd be willing to give up good returns for. Moves involving them are not hindered by no trade clauses also, so no worries about a deal deal being vetoed by them because they don't like the destination team like was an issue with moving Miller. There may well have been better deals on the table that Alvain and Rutherford could not take because Miller himself vetoed them with his clause.
Now Soucy is on the block. Management has made a lot of mistakes overpaying and extending players they dump within a year. The return is never good. After awhile, the diminishing returns will catch up
If Joshua is on your top 6 another center is NOT your biggest need
