Mark Stone Injures Miro Heiskanen: Intentional Or Stupid? | DLLS Sports #nhl #hockey #markstone

  1. Sam is 100% right. The outcome was not intentional but the fault lies in the fact that Stone put himself in a position for this potential outcome to occur. He could have stayed on his skate, that hook was not enough to make him fall like that. He was trying to sell. He also could have just slid away instead of in towards Heiskanen. So who cares if it was intentional the fault still lies on him for not doing more to avoid what happened. It was wreckless.

  2. Shouldn’t the stars player who tripped him went to the box for tripping? I think they should’ve reviewed before they started back up

  3. Show more of the clip!! I want a better look at the weak stick touch that made him fall. All these videos show after the alleged trip on stone

  4. Stone's comment post game…"I was just trying to make a play on the puck…"
It was not intent to injure, but he was clearly focused on tipping the puck, even after he was tripped. That is a dangerous play. Stone clearly dove fwd to "make a play on the puck" trying to cause a turnover. Stone could've avoided the dangerous contact with Heiskanen's leg/knee by not diving to tip the puck.

  5. The only thing that's stupid is this conversation. People are just jumping on this because it's Mark Stone.

It's one player trying to steal the puck, then he loses balance on the ice and falls on the players knee. Completely unintentional, and he would be criticised if he didn't try to make the play. I also want to add that Mark Stone is one of the best steelers of the puck in the NHL because of his reading of the game and the effort he puts in.

    It's just an unfortunate accident.

It's a lot easier to criticise players when you're not on the ice with hindsight.

    Let's go Knights 💛

  6. Let’s not even talk about who’s fault it was. Stone was laughing afterwards. How can you be happy about being a part of someone getting seriously injured. The guy has no moral code.

  7. It's bull that this is condoned by the NHL. I guarantee that if there were stiff penalties like permanent expulsion that the player would never have accidentally fallen head on knee into the other player.

  8. Anyone who thinks Mark Stone can catch a stick hitting his skate then decide "Oh I'm going to exploit this and dive at the legs of the guy with the puck" all in point 2 seconds is a moron.

  9. Avoidable. Never seen that play in hockey, Ray F. the color guy said that too. With betting legal, just thinking out loud, are bounties legal. Buff educated him once. Would love to see some re-education. Doesn't have to be Stone. Who is their best player? #9? 🎯

  10. Completely agree that it's stupid to trip somebody like that and get one of your teammates injured. Unfortunate that Miro got caught in the knee. Did Hintz get a penalty on the play?
