  1. He gets the hate alot cause its not the first time, Matheson, Dvorak, Gally, Anderson are the issues and they wont get held accoutable if its all sunshine and rainbows for the millionaires. I think its a really old mindset to not hold the vets accoutable when their making mistakes and taking penatilies all the time but its typical montreal softness. Good for Suzuki being a leader and sticking up for his guy but its his position to do so.

I think matheson really does have a bit of a ego and take random shots that shouldnt be shot which results in alot of turnovers for the team, I see better passing otptions for him but it just seems he wants to be the hero, I also think hes not the right partner for Hutson cause Hutson as of recently has had to revcover alot of mathesons turnovers as of recent and hasnt been really showing up on the ice cause he has to play a certain type of game to be able to be on the lione with matheson, He heeds a more defnesive partener and so does Matheson. Not all his fault i really do think we have the bottom of the barrel for vet leadership other then Savard, Suzuki, Laine which ends up hurting us alot.

Anderson, Gally, Matheson need to be better for penalty minutes taken and I know what you might say about anderson but he has fought much this year, Hutson also has some high numbers but to be expected as its his first year, he would most likley have less but hes playing more defense now cause of matheson and his size has him at a disadvantage taking minor penatilies like triping or holding to get a edge on bigger players, something he wouldnt have to do if he had a more laid back defensmen staying at the blueline.

these guys just need to go though we can get better leadership and better players in free agency this year, unfortunetly were screwed with gally and andersons conrtract and its not like their ignorant stubborn asses will leave.

  2. While ultimately it was Matheson who should have chipped it deep and negated the risk, Laines pass wasnt great either but wasnt much room for it to go through either.

Was unfortunate and definitely a mistake. However he is an offensive defensman. These things happen.

Maybe start the first 20 minutes better and it doesnt go to OT and we dont need a scapegoat.

  3. all people who blame mike matheson are doing it in bad faith the guy is coming his best season ever wtf you want from him let the guys play he has rookie partner best in league
