Ryan Hartman Suspended 10 Games by NHL Department of Player Safety

BREAKING: NHL Department of Player Safety hands Ryan Hartman a 10 game suspension after his match penalty against Ottawa for driving Tim Stutzle headfirst into the ice Saturday against Ottawa. For Hartman, this is the 5th time he has been suspended in his career (he has also been fined 7 times), and it is the longest suspension in Minnesota Wild history. Hartman is eligible to return to the lineup March 9th.

  1. I actually don’t think 10 games is good enough. There was nothing “hockey” about his play, he basically just assaulted someone and has a lengthly, not to mention recent history of being an absolute remorseless and reckless sack of shit. He should be out the rest of the season.

  2. There was no defending this play. There was absolutely no reason to put his elbow on the players neck and drive him into the ice.

  3. Sad for this to happen, Wild being picked on and after their number of injuries, there’s no 10game suspensions!! Surgeon deal? None!! Karill deal? None!! #14 nose broke? None? List can get long

  4. Bro(Hartman) thought he was in a WWE cage-match instead of a hockey game with that intentional elbow pile-drive 🤡
