  1. I think we’re gonna see a lot of the laine struggles with Haltunnen. ALTHOUGH, his physicality improving w London is a bright spot for a potential sheltered 3rd to 4th line role. And then just on the pp

  2. I kinda just hope Mack and Hutson were hanging out Monday night. The fact they were on the same NCAA team last year and that team didn't win it all is shocking.

  3. Our last 7 games against the Habs the home team has lost, though our most recent home game (Nov 24, 2023) was a SO loss and the one before that (Feb 28, 2023) was a 1-goal game before an empty netter (3-1 final). The other home game we had on October 28, 2021 was a 4-0 loss including 1 empty net goal. Before those 7 games, the Sharks won 13 out of 15 games in the 2010s including all 8 games in San Jose.

What's that mean? Absolutely nothing, which is what you are about to become.*

    * Sorry, I can't say "absolutely nothing" without finishing the quote from Spaceballs.

  4. Going to the game tomorrow!!
Will be slamming some brews downtown n hitting the tank
    Let’s go 🦈!!!

  5. 31:02 According to the NHL stats site, the Sharks have lost 6 games in regulation when they've been leading after 2 periods. Going back as far as they have stats, 8 teams have lost 8 games when leading after 2, 9 teams have lost 7 games when leading after 2, and the Sharks are tied with 27 other teams with 6 losses when leading after 2.

Nearly all of those are in 80-84 game full seasons, though there are 2 teams with 70 game seasons, 1 team with a 71 game season, and the 1930-31 Ottawa Senators had their 6 in a 44-game season.

Those are also regulation losses. I'm too lazy to have all of them factoring in OT losses, but the Sharks have 2 OT losses (I'm unsure if SO is included). Overall they've won 52.9% of games when leading after 2 periods, a 9-6-2 record. That's the 14th worst win percentage when leading after 2 in NHL history.

I believe the stat is only about having that lead at the end of the second period, there would be a few more if it was "when having a lead at any point in the third period."
