trade mathews please. remember this conversation when he disappears in the playoffs, again, and the leafs go out early. he is not a leader. he is not a playoff performer. never was, never will be. i dont care if he scores 100 regular season goals. he simply does not do it in the playoffs and the leafs need a playoff performer, not a soft ballerina. tally up what we could get for him and that bloated contract. no brainer imho.
