The Anaheim Ducks got off to a slow start, falling behind 2-0, but a fight from Johnston sparked the comeback. McTavish, Vatrano, and Killorn all found the back of the net, and Dostal made some huge saves to secure a 3-2 win over the Montreal Canadiens. LaCombe and Carlsson also had standout performances, while the power play continued to struggle. They need fired Greg Cronin and hired Randy Carlyle who who led the Top 10 in power play and penalty Kill. which elite coaches or young coach or maybe talk to coach from Florida Panthers what you guys think?🤔

Cronin reminds me of the Actor Ed Harris as he appeared in Apollo 13. He's only missing the plaid vest.
I won’t excuse that awful lineup just because they got a win 🙂 Killorn is the best of their veteran forwards but he’s too old to still be here when it matters. I heard that Cronin referred to Strome as a first liner. That’s dumber than calling mctavish a 3rd liner I think. On a playoff team Strome is a 3rd liner. On a competitive team he’s in the pressbox. I sure hope they can keep Doumalin. He is one of things that is right with this team, fan favorite or not Gudas is the guy to go. You only need one and Trouba is way better. Cutter on the 4th line is inexcusable. Cronin has two jobs. 1. Play the kids. And 2. Keep your resume up to date. I enjoy your videos.
I feel like they are getting wins DESPITE having cronin on the bench, not because of him. And who is the PP coach this season? They need to figure that out. there was a small window of PP success when they were getting wins against top teams, but then it went away again
And I keep seeing Trade Dumolin, but what if we let Minty or Zelly go for a good return of a scoring winger and keep Dumolin? I know they have grown on us as fans, but it might make more sense to let one young guy go and keep another veteran around who is the best defensive defenseman on the team.

Not a big deal McT being called 3rd line once in awhile in past. If we look at the roster, theres enough POTENTIAL talent that we should have atleast 3 offensive capable lines, plus he didn't start the season lighting it up exactly. If all your talent is stacked in the top 6, you might not have as strong a team as you'd like. Cronins a lost deer in headlights but I'm fine w having scoring touch up n down the lineup personally. GO DUCKS
Cutter on the 4th line is just stupid!!!!! The kid needs to be on the 2nd or 3rd line and should be given the green light to shoot every chance he gets. Fire the special teams coach. Our special teams is worst in the NHL.
I saw former Mighty Duck Mike Leclerc at the game. He walked around the team store after the game and nobody recognized him. They briefly showed him on the big screen when they were showing someone who was next to him. I guess there are not many old school Ducks fans going to the games.
Thoughts on the Luka trade?
The vatrano interview either intermission or after the game said a lot. On his goal he said something along the line of how he was there and the pass was there because he and strome has been playing together for 3 years. The ducks need to really start looking 2-3 years down the line and have leo and Z play with either cutter or mct full time. Same with the d pairing. Helleson is going through growing pains, but looks to be a future piece. Figure out who in minty/little z/lacombe will be his partner and stick them together every game and let them get that bond started. Oh and sit the veterans and let the future play.

Can Cronin recreate the chemistry in this game? Will he find the ability to give young players more ice time? We'll find out after he pulls the slot machine lever again to set the lines…
