The choices this coach and gm makes just makes me shake my head. Why is torts part of this rebuild? He wont be the coach in two years max. The team, scheme and coaching will all be different…

Torts is not the coach for Michkov. He is negatively affecting his growth and needs to go.

Thanks Rachel and Russ. Great discussion about where the team is at. I agree that the free agents won't see Philly as a potential destination. Between Torts and the uncertainty with the rebuild, it's an unstable environment. To me, the Sharks seem to be on the right track. They are seeing what they have, and will probably go after some vets to fill the gaps as a bridge. I'm watching to see how they progress next season. My question is, is Shaw being groomed to be the next coach when Torts is moved up? If so, I'm not going to be a happy camper. This off season, the coaches should be turned over in my opinion. We need to move forward with some players and some coaches. Let's get back on track with this rebuild. A side note. Russ mentioned something about Torts welcoming the new players. One former play already mentioned that his welcoming with Torts was, don't screw up tonight. That was it. If you are not a player that Torts wants, you won't be treated well. Another play was traded after he spoke out against Torts" methods. Both were younger players at the time. I feel for Michkov. He's going to be on the naughty list for a while. See you tomorrow.
I not sure why everyone was upset with Frost as a player! The last two games he's been all around the puck. Making plays, winning 61% of his face-offs and scoring goals. Honestly, he could be part of the leadership of the Flames in a few years. The player isn't broken, the Flyers must have a cancer in the locker room.
The first thing I noticed was that Michkov was consistently retreating and cycling the puck backwards, instead of driving up ice. The coach has basically taken the offensive drive out of the creative offensive player our next 10 years depends upon!

Konecny is a top 6 but not a great player sure he needs a good center to Play with
