Hopefully Blake isn't allowed a Christmas Day shopping spree allowing him to trade away the last of this team's assets chasing a Cup. His vision is about as good as Mr. Magoo's.
Moore should’ve been traded over the offseason when his value was its highest. He’s never going to score like that again. Everyone thought I was insane, now look what happened. And no, I don’t think this season is a head scratcher for Moore like Eddie said. I simply just don’t think Moore is as good as everyone thinks for how much he gets at 4.5 million per year. He’s just become this fan favorite because he’s a Thousand Oaks native. He also completely disappears in the playoffs

Fiala is dragging this team down the drain, he’s a constant threat..for the OTHER team with his giveaways , a bust on the power play and just lazy in general.. unfortunately,thanks to another dumb contract by Blake ,the guy is untradeable…
Trade Moore for sure. If you can send Lewis in a package to get a decent forward, do it. If we need to swing for the fences send Fiala, or Byfield.
Vancouver isn't trading Miller to the Kings. The Kings might be falling behind them in the standings very soon.
Look, guys, first off, few of the Kings' young players are geniuses. They are athletes trying to stay with the big club. And being told two of the regulars are returning, knowing your job will be diminished with their return, this has got to make a strong mental play against guys who had been playing way over their heads while replacing Doughty & Moore. Knowing it was for the team…but then you are gonna be returned to the minors or stuck up in the seats…come on, how would you feel? It's kind of a 'why bother' situation…honestly. Now, regarding Drew Doughty, I will always love him as he is one of the few people to ever say he wanted to play in L.A. (forgetting his reasoning!). But he's also a talker-talks way to much-and exudes an arrogance that does not fit his skill set. He's not Bobby Orr. Let's be real clear about that.. He's gifted and has almost always covered a mistake with a great play, but it's still out there. We've currently got guys who are playing their hearts out…not reminding us of how great they are! When Doughty returns, it nearly closes the door on our keeping Vladislav Gavrikov, who has played solid defense throughout 2024/'25! In other words, it's about the team…not a player. And I really did like Trevor Moore. I do. But he's seemingly lost his talent for working with other teammates. He needs to find the balance or find a seat in the broadcast booth! I say we go with those who brought us this far. And leave it to Jim Hiller to pull us through. He's shown a lot of imagination, thus far! As to blake…whatever. The GM gets paid to be the hero…or the GOAT! I am sad about Luc being "buddy, buddy" with management. But the Anshutz family has been generous enough…and there are plenty more heroes looking for work…and with experience!
I agree with Russell that NO team can contend for the Stanley Cup scoring 2 goals per game. Point that was made during the Nick Nixon interview. D.D. will be a welcomed addition 1. Because of his presence. 2. Overtime. I think we have 6 OT loses. I can not think of 3 veterans, as intelligent and able as Kopitar, Doughty and Kempe on the ice for overtime. With D.D. we could have 3 to 4 more pts in the standings that we have now. But as far as defense? How does he improve a Def that only allows 2 goals in 60 minutes? I say put him on the 2nd line with Clarke give him 18 minutes a game, ease him back, until he gets his wheels going.
What happened it seemed like a few maybe a couple years ago the Kings add some of the best prospects in their pool and haven't seen much in the way of results so with that kind of thought I have no confidence in them this year I don't think they're even going to make the playoffs
Can someone please tell me why jeanault is not playing with Byfield and foegle. That line has been the most impressive line on this team and he takes jeannault throws him on line 4 so Moore can play with foegle and Byfield. IMO Moore should play with fiala and dannault on line 3. Put lewis in press box and let the kids play line 4.
IMO, Kings overall need to work on their back hand passes. Turnovers are a big problem as of late, and I want to say a majority of the turnovers are related to back hand passes. Besides Kopitar and Kempe, I think every play on the Kings needs to work on this.
