Lauko boarding on Bahl – Tough Call Recommendation
Jakub Lauko is lucky this was reduced to a minor penalty. It’s avoidable, dangerous contact to the back of an opponent near the boards. Why would we not try harder to eliminate this stuff?

Odd to go from a major to a minor ON REVIEW. I think the league needs to start to require and publish some kind of written explaination when there are reviewed calls / goals. If the refs wrote that they felt Bahl turned at the last minute (maybe they made that announcent at the last minute), then at least you would understand why they made that call, even if you still disagreed. Agree, that putting your hands on t the defenseman's numbers and driving him into the boards at full speed is pretty f'd up.
