Hours after U.S. tariffs against Canada were made official, many Ottawa hockey fans were heard booing the American anthem during the Minnesota Wild vs. Senators game. Ridiculous! It's NOT the USA citizen's fault this crap happened. BOO our asshats in government who put us in a 62 billion dollar deficit; allowed FOREIGN INTERFERENCE and major fentanyl drug cartels to run rampant and kill thousands in BC and across the country etc. ALL Trudeau et al had to do was clean this country up from the criminals and tighten the borders. I'm a very angry Canadian BUT I try to keep in mind that somewhere around, oh, 65% of Americans are good people and worthy of our friendship. They will eventually figure this mess out. Booing the American national anthem is just the easy way for us to make our point. When the accumulation of Canadians boycott American products hits full steam, America will find itself as isolated as never before AND POORER. America has always acted as the arrogant, hubristic and obnoxious superiors to Canadians. The truth is we have more humility, compassion and empathy than any American has in their hangnails.
