  1. Way to overcome that energy/travel drain and bear down when it counted. Everybody is playing on adrenaline now. Get some well deserved sleep and let's smoke some Krack(en).

  2. Молодцы, не верится даже,долго думал Айзерман, чтобы убрать этого ученика "физрука! Вперёд Детройт 🐙🎉

  3. Guys looked dead tired for a lot of that game (understandably) Lyon was rock solid again. I loved the Chiarot goal……..great saucer pass by Burgers to the point and the two giants in front of the net (Wana see more of that from Ras, it was part of the reason he was drafted) I can't say enough good things about Johansson and he might be our best D man at the moment. The subtle little plays he makes are brilliant. Would've happily taken a point tonight but waking the house up cheering the OT winner at nearly 4am, got me in trouble but I don't care haha.

  4. Travel from Calgary and next game 18 hrs later is tough. You could see a lot of mental errors you normally don't see. Very strong win and great game from Debricat. Another clutch pass from Raymond in ot.

  5. Ask kane why he was being selfish and refused to get off of the ice? Averaged the longest shifts out of the forwards and some of the dmen too. He was pissy he got demoted to playing with veleno and fischer.

  6. McLellan playing Kane on 4th line is one of the scummiest things I've ever seen a coach do. Kane carried the team and was not just good on the power play but was great 5v5 and analytically and by scoring one of the best players in the entire league thru McLellan's first 11 games. Then for one horrible period at Dallas he apparently is now permanently buried and is being treated like he's garbage.

I have no idea what if anything passed between the two men behind closed doors, on the bench, or in practice that may have caused this rift, but it has to be personal bc it makes literally no hockey sense. If you hate a player that much, as either a player or a person or both – trade him. Or waive him. Or healthy scratch him until something like that can be figured out. But don't embarrass a proud player with a legendary career who has played extremely well for you. Kane gave McLellan all he had for weeks and carried his team. To turn around and do this is just – extremely ugly. I have zero respect for this coach and I'm not at all surprised that his career despite its lengthiness has had so little real success.

  7. Time will tell what happens the rest of the way, but Todd McLellan is showing why he has had success as an NHL head coach. I love the way he is taking this all in stride, keeping the Red Wings on an even keel and focusing the Red Wings players on getting better each day.

  8. Loving this no-nonsense era in Detroit coaching. Helene tried to bait Todd into taking a side about the anthem booing (which I know we all have personal opinions about) and he wasn't biting. We don't need distractions — play fucking hockey. LGRW.

  9. It was an ugly game, but it was an ugly situation. Lyon stood up for us big time. Great job mentally from the guys tonight! Love the effort and keep digging.

  10. Todd's right about not looking at playoffs right now. They need to be a better team to go past 4 games in the 1st round. Right now, they would be hard pressed to pull that off. But between now and start of playoffs, they can def become a team that can get to 2nd and mybe beyond. Keep it up fellas!!

  11. these tough and exhausting games on a road are exaclty the type of games you need to win when you want the team to be competitive. props to guys, LGRW!
