  1. Canucks got fleeced but at least they never had to retain any salary. (we need to think of the OEL debacle)

  2. What I dont understand is…if Miller really wanted out of Vancouver, and it sure looked like it…the Organization shouldve demanded to Millers agent that they want more teams they can trade too….Miller got what he wanted in the end …Why accomodate him to becoming a Ranger. Poor management of assets.

  3. If Patterson starts lighting it up now it only goes to show how soft of a diva he was not being able to handle a tough teammate being hard on him.

There is no winning Only here different degrees of losing.

Rip off the band aid and trade Boo Boo on his knee Pettey before his gawd awful contract kicks in.

  4. OK – now you guys have to get your act together and knock the Flames out of a Playoff spot -you can do it!!!!! I want a rematch

  5. Mismanagement at its finest . If i were Elias i would still demand a trade . He is not winning a Stanley cup with Vancouver .

  6. Mancini is a top 6 caliber defenseman today. He’s really solid. Could even get better. Chytil is a great player. Fast as hell, great hands, exciting player, solid playmaker. Incredibly positive and humble. Genuinely good dude. Wants to be great. Is the last guy to leave the ice at practice. I will miss him immensely. If he stays healthy, Canucks fans will be very happy.

  7. Canucks fans thinking they were going to get a haul for washed up old vet lol! I personally wouldn’t have given a 1st round pick let alone Chytil too! Canucks should be happy to let this locker room cancer go!

  8. If Chytil gets "The" hit and his career ends–Vancouver did not get a good deal. If Chytil remains healthy (I really hope does–a talented and good kid) Vancouver did really well. Mancini is goin to be stud. This could be a great trade for Vancouver.

  9. I understand they needed to make a trade for Jt . But the Canucks lost on this one! I don't believe the Canucks are done trading… should be interesting at the deadline! Brock? Pettey?

  10. No salary retention, no major prospect lost, and gained long-term cap space. A fair trade—could have been much worse for the 'Nucks.

  11. We need to look at and evaluate this and the subsequent trade with Pit for Marcus Pettersson as a whole. Not sure what to think yet, but it's time for EP40 to rise without excuses. Welcome to the Vancouver Swedes.

  12. we got nothing in return for miller grate, watch this team burn out eeeeshh pathetic trade boring players. and get rid of baby hughes we need a real dman

  13. Rangers have deep depth at the right defensemen spot so it makes sense to see Mancini go. Rangers left defense on the other hand, is going to look very different in the coming years

  14. Miller needed to go. Dressing room hazard. His time off at the beginning of the year was forced by the organization after he got physical and verbally abusive with canuck staff. Hopefully he smartens up in new york.

  15. I didn’t like it at first but i so now. JT Miller wont be good for 5 seasons. We get rid of his contract and get some value for it. We can sign someone in free agency this summer.

  16. Chytil is really, really good. He never had number 1 PP time and has been a career 3rd liner, but he is excellent offensively. He needs to improve on faceoffs but he has a very high upside

  17. If Petey goes, Quinn Hughes is gone too. Wether by trade or free agency. If that happens, Vancouver will have to go full rebuild and be a bottom 5 team for a number of years.
