  1. Our dream trade deadline is slipping away a little more each day. Maybe a trip to Florida will put a stop to all of this nonsense.

  2. All this does is make a false sense of security, just so you can get eliminated in the first round again. Now, none of the issues that are plaguing this team will be dealt with because of a winning streak. You have 5-7 players who need to be off this team immediately. Peterson would be great especially for horvat. But we got major issues that need to be addressed before the start of next season.

  3. If this doesn't prove Obson is expendable I don't know what does. We can sign both Tony D. and Perunovich for less than Obson. I don't use the "D" since he can't play D.

  4. If their current success continues, the Islanders could/should be buyers AND sellers at the deadline. Regardless of playoff standings, if Brock Nelson and/or Kyle Palmieri tell the Islanders they're not open to resigning, Lamoriello MUST trade them to get assets. You cannot let these two UFAs leave and not get compensation.

  5. Adam Boqvist, 8th overall pick in 2018. Highly skilled, strong skater. Nice addition for defence depth. That's some serious upgrade and puck movers and skill with DeAngelo, Perunovich and Boqvist in the past week. Nice pick ups, Lou. I would expect Cholowski to be waived.
Romanov – DeAngelo, Pelech-Boqvist, Perunovich-Mayfield Inj. Pulock, Dobson
This certainly has the looks of being able to move a Pulock, Pelech or Dobson to get some help up front.
Lou has lots of haters, but I'll take him over what the Isles have had since Bill Torrey. I trust Lou's knowledge of the game and shrewd nature.
    Keep going, Lou.
A couple of moves to strengthen the forward group and the Isles should make the playoffs.
